WHY IN NEWS?

Palestinians threaten to quit Oslo Accords, if U.S. President Donald Trump announces his West Asia peace plan. It is being said that the plan will turn Israel’s temporary occupation of Palestinian territory into a permanent occupation.

ABOUT OSLO ACCORDS

  • Oslo Accords are a series of agreements between Israel and the Palestinians signed in the 1990s.
