About Bolivia:
- Bolivia is a landlocked country located in western-central South America.
- The constitutional capital is Sucre, while the seat of government and executive capital is La Paz.
- The largest city and principal industrial center is Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
- Bolivia is the fifth largest country in South America, after Brazil, Argentina, Peru, and Colombia.
- The country is named after Simón Bolívar, the anti-colonial hero of Latin America.
Geographical features:
- Along with Paraguay, it is one of the only two landlocked countries in the Americas.
- Lake Titicaca, the highest commercially navigable lake in the world and the largest lake in South America is located along the border with Peru.
- Amazon Basin covers 66% of the territory and is drained tributaries of Amazon like Mamoré River, Beni river etc.
