- This report was published by Freedom House, a U.S.-based organization (NGO) that conducts research and advocacy on democracy, political freedom, and human rights.
- This report is titled as Titled as “Democracy Under Siege” and has claimed that India’s status has declined from “free” country to “partly free”.
