- Paleontologists have found an exceptionally well-preserved and diminutive skull of a previously unknown bird-like dinosaur species in a piece of Cretaceous-period amber from northern Myanmar.
About Oculudentavis khaungraae
- It is the smallest dinosaur discovered yet.
- The scientists found the fossilised skull of a dinosaur — the size of a modern hummingbird — trapped in a 99-million-year-old amber in northern Myanmar.
- The fossil represented the smallest dinosaur from the Mesozoic era — about 250 million to 65 million years ago.
