• Three Kashmir-based Indian journalists have been honoured with the 2020 Pulitzer Prize in the field of feature photography.

• The Pulitzer Prize is an award for achievements in journalism, literature and musical composition in the United States.
• It was established in 1917 by provisions in the will of Joseph Pulitzer, a newspaper publisher.
• It is administered but the Colombia University.
• Some of the reknowned Indian-origin winners are Jhumpa Lahiri, Geeta Anand and Siddhartha Mukherjee.
